Federal Telehealth Compendium
Federal telehealth programs continue to expand today, driven by the opportunity telehealth provides to help address significant healthcare workforce shortages and critical inequities in healthcare access for rural and other underserved populations, among other drivers. In order to provide information on federal programs related to telehealth, the following Federal Telehealth Compendium has been compiled.
This Compendium contains information on federal programs which: 1.) Provide direct funding for the development of telehealth programs; 2.) Provide funding and related support for essential telehealth infrastructure, such as broadband; 3.) Deliver services directly to beneficiaries through telehealth technologies; and/or 4.) Describe policy, regulations, or standards related to telehealth.
